Shared meals foster real friendship, just as the Acts 2 ekklesia had. Sharing food turns a basic daily necessity into an act of communion, echoing the early church. It also helps lower defenses, reflects the Gospel and builds trust.

Prayer is communicating with God. Together we seek His wisdom, ask for His help and intercede for each other. Believers are invited to join us every M-F at 7:30 AM on zoom, or at any of our in person meetings in Estero.

Discover Estero Ekklesia

Ekklesia is the Greek term used throughout the New Testament that is most commonly translated as 'church'. However, there are two important issues to consider: 1. Church in the plainest sense refers to a physical building, whereas 2. Ekklesia signifies a Ruling Council, which means believers are Heaven's Ambassadors on Earth. This understanding is essential for the Acts 2 community and enhances the concept of Christian fellowship, especially within prayer groups.
