The Early believers in Acts were devoted to the Apostle's Teaching, which is Bible Study in today's vernacular. We are called to be a people devoted to studying the Word for ourselves, not just receiving from others.

Devotion to fellowship is something not often seen in western society, but it was in the book of Acts, and it is commanded in the Epistles. We are passionate about restoring deep personal connections between believers to achieve biblical community.

Early Christians also "continued steadfastly" in having meals together. They lived life as an extended family - sharing food and time, really getting to know each other and carrying one another's burdens.

The first Christians didn't just pray on their own, they prayed together. In fact, they were devoted to it. Estero Ekklesia exists to help people reestablish the discipline of praying with others as close to daily as possible.
